I’m not a smart man. At least, I’m not a man that has a degree in English or Literature. I did okay in English in High School and College but it wasn’t “my thing” like the other students that wrote poems all the time or had journals.
Don’t get me wrong, I did some poetry because it was easy for me to write. All lost in time and decay by now but I still wrote.
I always had ideas. Unfortunately for me, I was one those people that couldn’t fully get the idea out from my head onto paper or, eventually, the computer. So many ideas that I gave up on.
I got into marketing. I started as a website developer and eventually the other forms of digital marketing came. I was there for the birth of social media, paid ads, heck, even Google!
I dabbled my ideas on paper when time, and children, permitted. Even now, as I type this post, my two year old daughter is on my lap trying to get my attention. It’s fun having children, lol, but I digress.
Then, AI came out starting with ChatGPT. I thought about using it as a means to get my ideas fleshed out better. The thought escaped me due to the financial responsibility of being my families provider.
Recently, I’ve grown tired of marketing. I’m a systems guy and not a salesman, so none of my businesses have ever reached a point where I can fully retire my wife (also a writer by the way). Other recent events have made me try something I thought I’d never really attempt.
I’m not a traditional writer. At least, I don’t think I am. Or maybe I don’t know what that means yet, at least for me. I mean, I’m blogging in a post AI world where people want the answers right away and here I am writing something that maybe two or three people will read. Again, I digress.
So, I created a pen name and built this site. I took some of my ideas and used AI to flesh it out, outline it, and with my direct input, write it. I’m not going to shy away from this as I’ve never thought of myself as a writer, just the idea guy.
As of the writing of this post, I have “Return,” “The Lamb’s Shadow,” and the first chapter of a novel I’m considering writing, “The Last Pilgrim” on this site.
Yes, I’m using a pen name. I want to test the waters to see if people actually like my ideas and stories. If you do, please share! I’m also using AI to make audio versions on YouTube.
As you can tell, I really enjoy end times prophesy. I’ll start my focus there.
